Sorry for letting this wait for so long. Could you please tell me what did you mean by "HOSTS makes argument(s) part of every roles."?

If you specify HOSTS variable, then Capistrano 2 include servers, listed in HOSTS to every role. I deleted last sentence to have less complicated hint.
