Feature request: Get Windows to open email links, etc. in a specific titled window of Firefox #49

I know this is not likely to be possible for your extension alone but, is there any chance to get Windows to open links in emails or Windows applications to a specific named window, instead of sticking them in whatever window you were last using?

I am just discovering window names in Chrome and am about to experiment with your extension too, and am having a vision of a sane and organized future that's probably illusory but is so, so attractive... this is leading to a decision, which browser I want Windows to open links in. If I could somehow control where (which window) new tabs created from links outside of the browser show up, it would be so wonderful! I could then review that window regularly and close, or sort to a named window, everything that shows up there - without disturbing the order in my universe. Instead of having new tabs proliferate willy nilly, sometimes same tab in multiple windows.... leading to overloaded windows with mishmashes of stuff...

Of course I could set things to open a new window with each link. Tried that, got too many windows quickly, then Firefox crashes... but maybe with named windows I could develop some habits.

However If a designated window name could be nailed down across the board, "External links" or something like that, and created if it doesn't exist, in order to open web sites linked to from emails, etc. that might work.

Maybe I would also need to raise this question with Chrome, Edge, Windows, and of course I will be switching to using a Mac more for my job so same question for Mac OS.... maybe Safari too although I don't use it....

What do you think? Possible?
