GeomFill_Pipe produces strange artifacts #529

Hello guys!

I already reported this issue on the official forums (http://www.opencascade.org/org/forum/thread_26594/?forum=3). GeomFill_Pipe produces strange artefacts, when the base curve is getting complex. I attached the .brep-File containing the curve in the official forums.

I am interested if you ever noticed such an issue with the class GeomFill_Pipe.

This would probably be better handled by reporting to OCCT's bugtracker, as it is core modeling functionality. Have you tried playing around with tolerances at all?

Yes I tried a lot, but playing with the parameters made it even worse up to crashes. I also tried some other sweeping tools like BRepOffsetAPI_MakePipeShell with no success. I just wanted to know if you ever experienced such a behavior or better oce already has a fix for this (if its a bug).

I will follow your advice and report it to OCCT's bugtracker.

The corresponding issue was registered with ID = 25426
