Thanks for your contribution. I will look at the proposed CONTRIBUTING.md later. And the source files under doc/ are actually unnecessary now. I don't think they add much value to the First Android Activity wiki page. I will remove them.

I've deleted the two test files on my fork for you, (worst case it saves me a merge).

In case you didn't see, I also edited the readme to have the logo in. The contributing guide is just the usual stuff (fork, PR, link issues ...).
