Add back get_arch/os for backward compatibility #47

The removal of get_os method breaks many of our autobuild scripts. It would be nice if you can add them back and release a new version for gem.

I've pushed a 2.3.5 gem

Thank you very much for your quick action. I was trying to explain the urgency, rather than to blame the change. I am sorry if it sounded so. I understand that any improvement requires changes.
