Simplicity of the measure, and raw / random #10

The proposed index of modularity is of striking simplicity - and thus likely to be prone to artifacts. In the opening paragraph, Poisot forgot to mention that random networks are also modular. Thus, a Q_R > 0 means, in itself, nothing, as Poisot rightly assumes when employing a null model.

I agree that the measure is simple, and it so on purpose, so as not to make assumptions about how modularity should have been optimized (being an a posteriori measure, it can work with almost no hypotheses).

I agree that the rationale for null models may not be obvious, so I clarified the fact that random networks do indeed have a value of modularity. I, however, don't think that this piece of methodological information is relevant in the opening paragraph, and I mention it in the Null model section.
