In my case I have a model 2 jap, a pal model 2 with switches (euro/jap 60/50hz) and a model 1 with the switchless mod (jap/euro/usa 50/60hz) For me the results are always the same, it works the same on one console as another. I think the most important thing may be the revision of the bios, the only difference between my consoles is for example: only in the model 2 pal the croc appears without a head, a Sega error more than documented, but the problem comes from the bios
