saroo sega saturn ultimate mortal kombat 3 loading too fast...sound errors occur...how to set saroo for this game?

Do you try add values in saroocfg.txt ?

I just added it's still too fast... why does the cd drive work when the game is on?

Since this game will try to start running the CD drive before starting, perhaps in the next update will fix this issue, now you can try the following Settings

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (USA)

the game stops at the sega logo....sd card fat32 or exfat formatted?

There are several versions of this game, I don't know which version you are using? What version of saroo firmware is used?

It has nothing to do with FAX32 or EX FAT format, the above setting applies to the (USA) version and will shut down your cd drive in the game. Using saroo v0.6 on my console will not run the cd drive

I am not familiar with the game and am not sure if the music is what I expected, so do you have normal and abnormal game music videos to watch?

play umk3 from the original cd and then play saroo... then you will understand what I mean...I know this game perfectly.

I don't have a cd of the game, I tried the game's music using the mednafen emulator, and it's the same as when I played it on saroo, so I wanted to see what's wrong with the music you're talking about Is your Saturn model 3200 gray in color?

My saturn is japan model 3210 gray...Burn a CD with the game and use pseudo saturn to play.Then you will see how fast saroo is :)

Unfortunately, this solution does not work, I would rather say that it is about parameters: sector_delay and play delay....

So I think there's a misunderstanding going on here. That issue is specifically related to VA0 and VA0.X revision Saturn's. These motherboard revisions are only found in HST-3200 Model Saturns. The model the user has reported he's using is an HST-3210. While yes this is still a Gray Model 1 Saturn, these debuted with the new VA-SG (VA1) Motherboard revision around June of 1995. This change resulted in some tweaks to the overall case to accommodate some major changes. There's changes internally to handle the Power Supply no longer mounting to the top case, the CD-ROM Block no longer being a daughter board, and the unused fan slots are removed. Since the user has an HST-3210, the only motherboard revisions he should have are VA1 through VA3. So the issue requiring a hardware modification is unrelated as he doesn't have that Saturn revision.

You can verify this by looking at the Saturn Serial Number Database: http://evilboris.sonic-cult.net/saturn/index.php?

For the actual issue here I'm guessing the issue has to do with the fact that UMK3 mixes some voice samples into the stage CD audio tracks to save memory. So for example at the start of a match when you hear "FIGHT!!!" the word "FIGHT!!!" is actually part of the background music track. So if things aren't loading at the expected speed my guess is that those words aren't playing in sync with the actual text on screen like they should be.

I hope it gets fixed too. I'm simply pointing out that the issue he was pointing to is completely unrelated as that's not the revision Saturn you have. The misunderstanding was thinking that all Gray Model 1 Saturns are VA0 revision boards.
