So e.g. when a user comes to a link #Lsomething or clicks a link with #Lsomething, where something is the line number, then take note of that.

To understand which parts of code are most viewed.

This could help with making strategic decisions on development efforts, since one could measure what parts of code get most use. Or i.e. what features are most used.

Wont work at all "#whatever" is browser internal and never sent to server.
