"ERROR" Incorrect email address or password" #28

If I point safari on my Mac at http://89.242.7.83:8082 it will log in using my email and password without any issues. I have tried Traccar Manager on all of these 4 servers; http://demo.traccar.org http://demo2.traccar.org http://demo3.traccar.org http://demo4.traccar.org But each time I get "ERROR" Incorrect email address or password" I have deleted the app and re installed it between attempts. Im guessing this is me doing something wrong but I can't work out what?

On newer versions of iOS http requests will fail because Apple wants you to use https. This might be your issue. Are there any clues in the console or debug log?

@iTracMan, I would suggest to pick one server instead of trying everything? Have you registered an account on each of 5 servers? Have you tried to connect to the same server from mobile browser with same credentials?

I was just trying all 4 servers to see if that was the issue. I then reverted back to trying on the default server http://demo.traccar.org I can access the web server via the browser on my iPhone (wifi and/or 4g) using the same email and password that I using on the mac.

Traccar Manager is basically a wrapper around same website, so it should work as well. Are you sure you are using same URL, email and password?

The only thing different is that when going in via a browser it changes the URL to the Address mention on my first post ?

Changes the address? It means there is something wrong with your browser or network. URL shouldn't change.

So is there any way to delete an account from the server and start over?

I don't think it has anything to do with the account. Can you record a video of the changing URL?

No, I have deleted all reference to it in links, apps and registry. But when I try to log in with my username and password again it says username and password affront. But there is no option to delete the account, enter a new password or recover the existing one. If I try to reregister it rejects thane cause the details are already known to the system.

You have to be more specific. What "registry" are you talking about? I'm completely lost on what you are trying to do. Please provide full detailed step by step information on what you are doing, ideally with screenshots and/or video.

I have a tracker on my motorcycle.

I followed instructions and created an account at http://trackbro.nortek.co.uk

That works fine when I log in using the web browser on any computer of mobile device.

I then downloaded IOS traccar client on my iPhone. That is setup and working, it gets the status info from the tracker on my bike.

I then downloaded IOS traccar manager on my iPhone. When it installs it defaults to the demo server. I then registered with same username and password as I used in the web browser.

When I try to log in to IOS traccar manage on my iPhone it says incorrect username/password.

Your domain is misconfigured. It redirects instead of point to the given IP address. That won't work with Traccar Manager.

What is the solution to that?

You have to properly configure your DNS, or use IP address directly.
