Software to create pixel art: -https://www.pixilart.com/draw Free. Can draw in browser (not necessary to get app). But images can be used by the company? -Pixel Studio - App downloaded to my samsung tablet. Free version. Reportedly able to do animations. -https://aseprite.org/ Cost $20 -https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.therealbluepandabear.pixapencil&pli=1

Software for (non-pixel) sketching: -Concepts (available for samsung tablet) - free and paid, vector format -https://kleki.com/ - free

Software for making vector art: -Inkscape (only works well on laptop/desktop) - I downloaded already to my Mac -Concepts (for samsung tablet) - I downloaded already to my Samsung tab

Currently leaning towards using Pixel Studio (drawing on samsung tab) for all images.

I believe can also use to make gifs -- for animations to be used at end/beginning of lessons.

Try 640 x 360 or 320 x 180 pixel canvas for full screen landscapes.

For tiling of existing sprites/pixel drawings: https://www.spritefusion.com/editor (Free. Website based.)

Current thought: Probably not useful to me currently. (More helpful for game developers using Unity or Godot.)

https://smackstudio.com/characters/

Makes animating pixel art characters faster.

For consideration. I have not fully vetted this option yet. Possibly $15.
