MAJOR: attempt to upgrade to SS4. COMPLETELY UNTESTED! #80

This is a draft upgrade to SS4 - just to try it out. I have not tested it whatsoever. It would be good to get some feedback on it. I dont mind if you say: this will NEVER be upgraded. However, we would love it to be part of SS4.

@tractorcow ... hey! This may never happen, but it would be awesome if it did!!! because in my opinion it was the best caching option because:

a. it was super fast b. it could take into consideration any changes very easily.
