Meeting October 10-11 #1

We had discussed having an (unofficial) Moore DDD Training Club meeting, inspired by the training interest and engagement of @ctb @ethanwhite @karthik @tracykteal and @MatthewTurk.

Any one interested in 'data driven discovery' training efforts is welcome!

Dates will be just after the Moore meeting,

Dates: October 10-11 Location: Davis, CA

I am happy to do that, but I had to get a hotel in Sacramento, so will need a ride. My train is at 4:10PM from Davis. In theory if we went running right at noon we might be able to sneak it in before our respective travel.

@arokem Great. Ideally, I'm aiming at ~8-10 miles between 11 and 12 min/mi, so we need 90 minutes or so (plus time to clean up after).

All - thanks for a great meeting. Not sure if this is the best place for this, but I'm starting to investigate Metacademy as a way to organize the D-Lab's trainings. If anyone else is interested in such a thing, please get in touch! Maybe on twitter?
