Adobe Camera Streaming: the camera in my iota base isn’t detected #5

Thanks for this excellent add-on!

after configuring and starting it, I see a message in the log saying 5 cameras are detected. But my Abode setup includes 6 cameras. The missing camera is the iota base built-in cam.

I see an entity in Home Assistant for the iota cam, so why is it not detected by the add-on to create an RTSP stream?

It's likely that the Iota's camera is a different device type, so either my code or the jaraco.abode library isn't detecting it as a camera at all. Can you restart the addon with debug logging and add the log file as an attachment?

I haven't had a chance to dig into the logs yet, but I'll let you know!

@tradel another follow up ping to see if there's any chance that the iota cam support will be added soon.

Sorry to report that I’m dealing with some health challenges and I don’t really have the bandwidth to work on this plugin right now.

Sorry to have added to your worries. You should definitely take care of yourself first!

As a retired tech guy, I’d be glad to contribute to the project, although I’d have to learn the coding and build tools and methods. If you can point me to some getting started resources, I’ll take a look.
