9 years ago Search by name of trail is much much better but search by attribute is still slow. I'm going to move that into a new ticket.

When filtering based on activity or searching for a trail, there is no indication that it is processing the request. It is very slow when performing either action, though if you wait long enough, it seems to work.
Not critical for this release, but performance enhancement and a status indication (if slow to respond) are both desirable
