Lots of taxonomic updates to files - mostly reflecting the more refined function through {APCalign} and add_taxonomic_updates is more transparent, by overwriting old updates and outputting in alphabetical order
Nano_2011 had 7000+ taxa, with a mix of names with/without authorship. It would have been overwhelming to add everything as updates to the metadata file, so I ended up using stringr matches, then APCalign::align_taxa to add a new column to the data file. Only the 300 taxa that were not perfect matches (as identified by align_taxa were added to the metadata file
Frustrating how many phrase names have changed syntax with APC in the past year - hence lots of changes to the big flora files
Added two functions that will reside in austraits.build/R folder, one for taxonomic alignments and a second for rebuilding the taxon list.
Updates to the taxon list itself will be on a separate branch
The two tests files are not meant to be here -I have no idea how they got here because I didn't intentionally ever open/change them.
