This is very, very old work and before latest maven wrapper but doesn't matter it works. I also have here noted on readme that repo is archived. After that I think #26 should be done and old PRs closed if they are not valid and issues closed out so its clear to community this is no longer active. I would have removed the old wrapper here but didn't see much of a point.
