Duplicates on Trakt from the plugin #196

The plugin keeps adding duplicates for no reason to my history; I usually manually delete the duplicates but they sometimes come back, sometimes they don't.

I am leaving these there for now for you to look.

I have set the logging to debug and I will upload the log file when the plugin adds more duplicates, where exactly are the log files saved by the way?

I use PHT to watch and am using the latest version of Plex server with 9.9.0-beta plugin version - but this problem has been there since quite a few versions.

Here are the logs.

This time not only did it add duplicates, it detected the wrong show and episode all together. I was watching Penny Dreadful S2E10, which is what I had to add manually. It detected the Legend of Korra episode, and scrobbled it multiple times.

This bug should be fixed on the "develop" branch, the fix will be included in a new beta release later tonight.

It's still detecting The Legend of Korra S04E08 when I play Penny Dreadful S02E10 on 9.9.1-beta, I will check for duplicate scrobbles in a bit.

Have you seen this (incorrect episode being scrobbled) happen with other episodes?

The only cause I can think of is "The Legend of Korra S04E08" metadata has been cached under the identifier for "Penny Dreadful S02E10" - clearing the Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Caches\com.plexapp.plugins.trakttv\metadata directory might fix this.
