The plugin could be taking too long to startup which results in the process being killed by Plex Media Server. (similar to issue #405)
Have you tried restarting Plex Media Server? it might be only happening on system startup due to high disk I/O.
Does the com.plexapp.plugins.trakttv.log
file exist under Plex Media Server\Logs\PMS Plugin Logs
? I couldn't see it in the archive you attached.
I just tried manual restart versus system start up and no matter what I do, I cannot get it to start up.
I did locate the PMS Plugin Logs and attached it as a zip and also downloaded new logs in case it shows up again. Both are attached. Thanks for your help! Hope we can get to the bottom of it.

Is there anything else I can do to help diagnose? Would love if this were solved.
It definitely looks like a plugin timeout error, will have a look to see if any improvements can be made to the plugin startup tasks (e.g. deferring slow tasks) later this week.
Great! Thanks! Happy to troubleshoot or test more if you need. When it works, it's great!
I've made some improvements to the plugin bootstrap process in the feature/bootstrap-improvements
branch, could you download it from here, install it, and let me know if the plugin starts up correctly now?
Please attach the latest plugin log file if it's still not starting up correctly.
Gave it a shot. It started up after installing your version and relaunching Plex manually. It does not seem to launch on system start up, but when quitting and launching Plex manually, it does.
I do have these 2 messages within your channel:
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host (code: 10054) The read operation timed out.
Here are my log files: Plex Media Server Logs_2017-03-08_19-44-54.zip
Let me know if you need anything else! Hope you can figure this out.
Could you post the latest com.plexapp.plugins.trakttv.log
file after the plugin fails to initialize on system startup? couldn't see any plugin log files in that archive you posted.
Those messages are all general network faults (DNS failures, timeouts, etc..) related to your Internet connection or the Trakt.tv API, probably isn't much that can be done in the plugin to avoid them.
I couldn't find any plugin log file that indicates it failed to startup. If this is still an issue could you try reproduce the issue again and post the latest com.plexapp.plugins.trakttv.log
and Plex Media Server.log
files right after it happens. Please let me know roughly what the local time was when you (re)started your system as well.
It happened about 1:45 PM.
Using Windows 10. Channel does not start. I've tried to install via the webtools channel and manually, but neither works. Attached the log. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
