No automatic sync #556

Expected Behavior

If I watch something from an addon, lets say File X, I expect that Trakt syncs back to Kodi library File X as watched automatically.

This only works when doing a manual sync.

Trakt should sync automatically back to Kodi once a file has been stoppes.

Trakt takes care of that for you, as long as you have scrobble activated https://trakt.docs.apiary.io/#reference/scrobble/stop/stop-or-finish-watching-in-a-media-center

Thanks.

I can read the following from the link..

If the progress is < 80%, the video will be treated a a pause and the playback position will be saved.

Is the playback version saved to Trakt? If so Trakt only saves files with > 80% currently but not for lower than 80%, even if scrobble notification is showing up.

How often is the automatic sync happening to Kodi library?

I use advanced settings xml to change the percentage.

Hey Droopified, I just stumbled on your post on using advanced settings xml to change the percentage before marked as watched on the trakt addon. I tried doing this with no luck. Where did you put this file after creating it was it in the lib folder of the addon?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
