This looks really cool. Has any hardware been designed?

Not yet. :( Some real-life issues prevented me from spending time for this project for some time now. But its not dead, only sleeping. :)

Sadly no. I hope that sometime in the next 2..4 months I will have more free time to continue this project. But if you have some ideas or wishes: just post them and I will see if they fit into the project scope. :)

Given the rise of DIY Powerwalls how about something that can work with one of those?

Only recently I got some time to work on this again. I'm not aware of DIY Powerwalls (any link on one specifically?). However, when the components are defined I think adjusting the output to fit to the parameters required for a Powerwall should be not too complicated.
