Hi all,
What is the purpose of removing the Hebrew vowels? Don't we want to keep them when they appear in the original text?
I believe some Hebrew pointing was added by some automatic mark-up that was done earlier, and that could be removed. But it seems to me that we should do this only on the basis of visual inspection by a human. Or am I mistaken?
All the best, Chuck

The issue came up when the "scanning" process added pointing to all the Hebrew. We were thinking to remove any pointing that that tooling added, that WAS NOT in the PDF. I have also been checking what is in the XML against pointing that IS IN the PDF. I have re-entered the pointing to match the PDF, if they are different.
At this stage, I have not gotten an answer back from Jesse about whether he can modify his script to remove the pointing from the contents of the COPY buffer, only, so that we can select and copy the specific Hebrew with the pointing from the XML, where there is none in the PDF, and then pasted it back in without the pointing.

Hi David,
Ah, great. That's what I understood we were wanting, and that's how I handled the corrections I entered.
