osisRefs for I Ki & II Ki #67

The osisRef for I Ki and II Ki can either point to 1Sam and 2Sam, respectively, if the context is LXX, or point to 1King and 2King if the context is the Hebrew text. An analysis function should be developed which can either determine whether the mapping is correct for each instance (there are both in the A-S), or generate a report that would be analyzed by an editor to determine correctness of mapping.

A script was developed to generate reports for review before manual editing. Specifically the reports identified:

  1. XML lines which contained citations for I Ki with osisRefs of 1Sam which were not identified as being from the LXX.
  2. XML lines which contained citations for I Ki without osisRefs of 1Sam which were identified as being from the LXX.
  3. XML lines which contained citations for II Ki with osisRefs of 2Sam which were not identified as being from the LXX.
  4. XML lines which contained citations for II Ki without osisRefs of 2Sam which were identified as being from the LXX.
  5. XML lines which contained citations for III Ki but did not have its osisRefs as 1Kgs
  6. XML lines which contained citations for IV Ki but did not have its osisRefs as 2Kgs

These will be re-generated once all 1st pass editing is complete.

I will review these reports for necessary manual edits.

I've attached a PDF of the analysis results, which shows which references should be modified, and why. I & II Kings ref issues.pdf
