17 years ago This is now fixed in SVN with SVN revision 5821 and should appear in future versions of Pootle. By clicking on any suggested entry under "related" the translation of that string is inserted in the currently focused text area. I would still like to enable this with HTML accesskeys (perhaps numbered from 1,2,3...), but at least this already gives some way of doing this easily.

I've particularly wished for this, since the OOo files don't work on the unique string principle: I'm so often encountering the same strings. Being able to copy the term from the Related field would save a lot of time with repeated/similar strings, and avoid typos.
I've done some of this for myself by using a clippings program (TextExpander): since I have difficulty typing, I have created shortcuts for some common translation terms in Vietnamese. However, I can't remember more shortcuts than I have now. Being able to copy from the Related field (especially once we have a larger glossary) would be a really useful feature from the time-saving, the mistake-avoiding and the accessibility points of view.
I don't know how difficult it would be. I hope not too unwieldy.
