Hi, if this helps the devs, i noticed this issue happens when an image is copied in the clipboard. Then when you focus on the transgui window/summon it from taskbar/open a torrent it will close. Opening via terminal shows "segmentation fault (core dumped)" when it crashes.
OS: Ubuntu Bionic 18.04.4 LTS (5.3.0-42-generic #34~18.04.1-Ubuntu) Transgui: 5.18.0 build e8e4e29 Transmission: 2.94 on Debian remote server
Great, good spot. Just confirmed this is a cause. I opened Transgui all okay. Closed to the taskbar, copied an image from Firefox. Opened Transgui and as th3bucch states it closes repeated the process but opening the application from terminal and I get the following if it is of any use
Creating gdb catchable error:

Transmission is running on my Synology NAS, very intermittently Transgui which isstarted with OS will close when I open it, can be adding a new torrent can be just clicking the taskbar icon. Once it closes then for a short period of time I cannot restart after a while I guess 10 - 15 minutes maybe a bit less I can the restart and it will be fine. I realise probably difficult to find out problem without some form of logs so if there is a way to enable logging I can do so and update later. For bug report, please provide version info of:
