Until issue gets fixed in the app, try unchecking the Ignore unencrypted peers in the Encryption section under the Peers tab in the settings.
With many thanks for your kind answer. Unfortunately, it doesn't change but, don't worry, I'm glad to hear it will corrected through the next update and I'll wait for it. Thanks a lot! BTC
I’m having the same problem using private internet access vpn “PIA” & transmission on macOS Sequoia m2 Mac
my last hope will be rolling back to macOS Sonoma
turning off the default macOS firewall under settings/network/firewall seems to fix the problem i think, but that's not a fix

I think in this particular case it is better to report this to Apple with Feedback Assistant.
Nothing we can do here about broken system firewall.
What is the issue?
Good evening to all of you, Sorry if my question is stupid or not relevant but... ... I updated my Mac system to Sequoia and from that moment I'm no more able to download anything. The system says "0 peers" (which is not possible in those cases). Digging into the settings, in Networks I've seen that the part "Peer listening port" gives a number and writes "Port check site is down". Any idea to solve my problem? With many thanks for your kind support. BTC
