share buttons #287

This is a reflection / documentation issue. At the point that we coalesce on something to build, we should make a new issue that refers to this one for background.

Maybe we can provide some easy share buttons, especially share to social media. Let's have a look at other sites and see what others do. If we find that this makes sense, let's make an issue and start documenting it.

Related to this, though, is that facebook especially provides these really heavy javascript libraries that suck up quite a lot of information just be being on the page, whether the user uses them or not. That's maybe something to avoid.

I think mozilla or some other foundational library has some useful share functions, but I don't remember clearly.

Mostly handled by #993, except that that only pushed the buttons to a single page, whereas this involves the entire site.
