Hello,

I am using some of your source but with it modified a bit at https://github.com/silver2row/BBBW_RELAYCAPE/blob/main/MyFirst.c .

I gave you credit for your work and I just noticed an issue with me, the crediting, and your work.

Seth

P.S. Is there anything else in that file that I should credit you for currently outside of where the work originated?

Hello Seth:

Crediting me is fine, although you might want to provide a link to the original code in case someone wants to see it. I believe it was this code here:

https://github.com/tranter/blogs/tree/master/gpio/part5

I hope you found the code useful.

Regards, Jeff

Hello,

Yes sir. I will put in the correct address for the original source. It has been helpful. I am learning now how to officially handle specific GPIO signals and with the am335x. In Linux, it is similar to the source you have currently from the ICS blog posts you have supplied.

Seth

P.S. Ending transmission for now. Thank you.

Mr. Tranter,

Seth here again. I was reviewing the BeagleBoard.org terms and conditions for a bit. I am really being a pain here since I sort of used your source to build upon w/ the BeagleBone Black. But!

This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike
4.0 International License

That above text is from their, I am not really affiliated w/ them but they allowed me to use your source for a project, terms and conditions page (still under construction).

Anyway, is it okay to CCA-S4.0 Int. License for the source that I changed a bit that directly comes from you?

I am trying to be more technical in writing and not so much full of banter but it is a painstakingly hard assignment since I rejoice and share often.

So, if this is okay, good. If not, and if the project you initially made that I changed a bit is not accessible for the license, I need to notify them and allow them time to take down the source which can be found here: https://git.beagleboard.org/silver2row/docs.beagleboard.io/-/blob/main/boards/capes/relay.rst which is my clone of their repo to build upon.

The site used is here: https://docs.beagleboard.org/latest/boards/capes/relay.html#bone-cape-relay

I need to make sure everyone is covered here no matter how foolish or serious it actually is to whomever...

Seth

P.S. I am sorry for this elongated text. Maybe it is okay for the license they are requiring or maybe it is not. Please just let me know on which stand you take so I can act accordingly.
