Mostly because uploading extensions to Chrome Webstore is not free. In early development of this project, I didn't have any credit card to purchase the fee. Also, it recently has used some features such as Sidebar which Chrome haven't supported yet, so in current state it will need a little work to make it compatible with Chrome. I'll try to make it cross-compatible with Chrome when possible, but if you can do something then any contributions will be appreciated :)
Oh my bad. I am using an extension which utilizes side-bar feature. I thought that the extension is on chrome. However it turns out that extension is on Firefox :P What is your plan to replace sidebar when porting to chrome? In my opinion, the sidebar is specially intuitive. I have a request for a feature which:
Sorry for my late reply. Yes, I think the hot key feature to toggle the sidebar is possible. For now the problem is I just can't find any good hot key combination that is not conflict with any other default hot key in every operating systems. I'll see what I can do about porting this extension to Chrome. Also if someone want a Opera extension port, it will be easier do to comparing to Chrome, because it use the same "browser" object as Firefox and Opera supports sidebar too.
The idea of the dictionary is really nice. Why haven't you ported the extension to chrome web browser yet?
