Help Needed #322

I want to use VPP2202 and UPG1.7 stable release together

  1. I build docker and deploy - it is issue with EAL : hugepage not found.,... how to mount
  2. I want to build VPP and UPG as normal binary and run -how to do ?

Hello @prasenjitpdas Sorry, I am probably missing goals that you are trying to achieve. However, please check answers to your questions 1 - by default UPG-VPP requires huge pages. Please follow official VPP documentation for more details https://fd.io/docs/vpp/v2101/gettingstarted/users/configuring/index.html 2 - VPP is build as a binary and located at /usr/bin/vpp and can be executed as /usr/bin/vpp -c <path-to-startup-config> Startup config is required for VPP and it's complete description also can be found in documentation above

  1. If I download the stable /1.7 it build a docker container by make image... but I want to build a normal binary , what command I need to use. also I see in make image it down load VPP dcoker file from vpp.spec file.
  2. I can use the docker but when I run I get the huge page issue EAL : hugepage not found , how to mount huge page in docker.
  3. I can build VPP 2202 without UPG plugin , I want to push UPG plugin to VPP directly , for that I want to build UPG as independent plugin , but I am unable ... How to build a UPG plugin..
