While I love typescript as much as the next guy, I really would not want to have compile-to-JS dialect specific files in this repo. For one, after your initial PR, the maintenance burden is on me.

I appreciate your effort and thank you for it, but I would really prefer if this would be put into one of the type registries like DefinitelyTyped or some such.
