APT whitelist request for libdbus-1-dev #434

Open BanzaiMan opened 9 years ago

BanzaiMan commented 9 years ago

This replaces travis-ci/travis-ci#4483.

The original text by @abarth follows

Needed for building atom/electron

Part of #4222

BanzaiMan commented 9 years ago

Ran tests and found setuid bits by purely textual search. Further analysis is required.

If these are found to be benign, add:

dbus dbus-udeb udeb dbus-x11 libdbus-1-3 libdbus-1-3-udeb udeb dbus-1-doc libdbus-1-dev dbus-1-dbg

See https://travis-ci.org/travis-ci/apt-whitelist-checker/builds/72545661.

I'm curious whether there's still hope for this dep?

ps. this is a dupe of #66

Nonius commented 9 years ago

libdbus-glib-1-dev is dependent on libdbus-1-dev so there is a workaround. Until it gets fixed.

zcbenz commented 9 years ago

@Nonius Thanks for the workaround, it works!
