White text on White Background

Upon using Resource Hacker to enable Aero-Glass by deleting the first three SupportedOS Id lines within "manifest", it seems by also having to delete the first line:

There is an issue consequent as after saving the changes correctly and restarting firefox, the text on the toolbar, tabs, as well as toolbar icon titles appear white. After experimenting by removing and replacing back the chrome and firefox profile contents into the appropriate directories, as well as toggling with the default app and PC System light/dark mode system, using firefox themes, and deleting certain lines specifically within the resource hacker, rather than the first three collectively as instructed in the READ ME, the first SupportedOS Id line:

seems not only to be the only line responsible for enabling aero-glass on my system, but also responsible for changing black text into white text on white backgrounds..

Any help on this interesting issue would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
