At present, items Eqiat can't understand can still be uploaded but their metadata (keywords and description) isn't editable.

Can the QTI format store keywords and description, or is that a feature provided by questionbank?

To be honest I don't remember. I think maybe it couldn't be stored as part of the individual QTI item, but could have been in a full blown test? Or something? I definitely remember looking into it and deciding that what I did wasn't ideal but I was compromising in some way...
