Will you redesign Airfloat?About new flat style?

trenskow commented 11 years ago

I probably would.

vateye commented 11 years ago

In ios7's Control center,it doesn't have song length and the current time

vateye commented 11 years ago

qq2013061105018 just like this

When will you fix it up?

First, thanks for making this open source. I was sad to see it taken off the App Store and was sad not to have access to it after losing my jailbreak to iOS 7. On that note, I downloaded the source and made changes to resolve any depreciation warnings and to fix slight UI issues for iOS 7 (I'm building only against iOS 7 since all of my personal devices have been updated). Things I haven't been able to change are the app icons and launch images. Is it possible you could upload images to match the new image dimensions for app icons and launch images? Below are the required sizes and what they're used for. Note that the images you provided for the iPhone work as is. screen shot 2013-10-28 at 6 56 16 pm

Thanks again.

Does the version currently on Cydia (1.3.2) actually work on iOS 7.0.4 with evasi0n jailbreak then (minus the song length and current position)?

Airplayserver works natively in iOS 7. It runs in the background, requires no app, and can be auto started at boot. This app works great for iPhone 4 iOS 6.1.3 thanks for developing it :)

@wahlmanj can you provide some more information about iOS 7 native Airplayserver? How to enable it?

wahlmanj commented 9 years ago

I have since gone to airfloat. I can lock my phone without audio dropouts using it. Only downfall is you can't start airplay at boot. Small price to pay to be able to lock my phone and conserve more battery during airplay.

Will AirFloat ever be updated for iOS 7/8? Because it is the only way to run an airplay server on a non-jailbroken device (through Emu4iOS).

wahlmanj commented 9 years ago

Why not just jb if your on a firmware that can be jb?

The current master branch now compiles and runs on iOS 8.4, but I have not redesigned the app - and the control center still doesn't show time either.

Small steps...
