Documentation for Filters

I would like to see more about how Filters are supposed to be used.  For
example, an RSS feed I use is
http://tvrss.net/search/index.php?distribution_group=combined&show_name=Burn+Not
ice&show_name_exact=true&filename=&date=&quality=&release_group=&mode=rss

I've set it up as a Feed in the list, but now what should I be filtering on?

Filters are based on the feed's title element.  In the case of your feed, an 
example
would be:
Burn Notice 2x16 [HDTV - 0TV]

I would recommend enabling Smart Episode filtering so you only get one of each
episode.  As for the filter, if you don't care about anything else (for example 
HTDV
or group) then you could use a filter with just a period to match everything.  
Assign
it to your feed and you're good to go.

Since this feed is so specific, I don't know what you may want to filter on.  
Give me
an example of what you specifically do or don't want and I can probably help 
out better.

http://tvrss.net/feed/eztv/ how about this one? it doesn't have any history at 
all... any clues?

If you are saying that the feed doesn't show any history if you add it to your 
list
then that would be a new bug, please open a new issue for it.  Otherwise I don't
understand your question.

ok, new bug it is. But the truth is that i can't get any feed to work actually. 
At least tv shows torrentcasts.
