Hi,

Recently I have been mining with claymore on my msi laptop and without any oc setting I had 23 mhs on ETH. Suddenly it stopped, I've found out claymore is not supported anymore so I changed to Trex but I'm having extremley low hasrate 3900khs. I thought I might damaged the card but the windows see it right. Tested it with furmark and games but no problem.

I would really appreciate some guidance. Thanks in advance!

Here is the log what i get:

Something's preventing the GPU from working properly, it's only consuming 30W by the looks of it. Not sure what it might be though.

Have same problem with 1060 in my DELL laptop... 17W(2,7MH) and saw in 3D operations... Normal operation is 60W(20MH) and 100% in 3D operations... saw

you're only using 30 Watts on your card. Try restarting, and make sure you are using AC adapter, not USB C charging. set to maximum performance mode in MSI settings. your card should be using 65 to 85 watts+

New info from my DELL laptop with 1060... after unplugging charger I got 18W and 4MH and saw changed to trapezoid... It looks like some WIndows/driver issue. With charger I got again 17W and 2.7MH

Hi Guys,

Well.. thanks for the feedback.... as I can read I obviously saw that I use less power... anyways it solved. Windows screwed something up. First I reinstalled windows but the same issue. For the second attempt I formed all the drives what I had. ( I had to realize there were multiple small just a couple of hundred MB size drives what I did not see before and they were only visible during windows install.) In addition I went for offline account this time.

I don't know which of the above helped but now it is working fine.
