CPU usage becomes bigger after browsing web with miner being used in the background after a while #377

ive noticed for the past few days after i mine for a while my cpu usage goes up for no reason and therefore all other programs are slow. The only fix so far is to either restart the miner or restart the computer if restarting the miner doesn't work.

When i check task manager the "system" seems to be the thing going up in cpu usage. Is it not good to do other things while mining?

(im using a 3070 gpu and a 5800x cpu)

If you have the monitor connected to the 3070, then any activity on the computer will have an impact on the 3070. Especially playing any kind of animation or videos (ads or youtube). On my Vii which I have attached to my laptop via Thunderbolt, the hash rate drops almost 10mh while youtube is playing. The only way to fix it is to lower the resolution of the video to 480. 720p or higher starts to have a big impact on the hashrate.
