Pretty much all miners and connections to mining pools are either blocked or show alerts under current antivirus software. You must add those addresses to the firewall to allow the connections out. What pool are you connecting to?
its a different alert .. its specific. mining works. the error was never reproduced .. with the tools running. i cant guarantee its not a weird fake alert. but .. you are not putting me at ease with this response

2miner is a legit mining pool. Very big and popular. Somehow the software you are using made a call to 2miners and looks like your firewall blocked it. It's an IPS so it was an incoming packet, not outgoing.
As I mentioned before, all miners are flagged as malware by all anti-virus programs, including Windows Defender. Depending how your AV is setup, some will block them automatically and delete the file or move them to the quarantine file.
In your case, it alerted you of an incoming connection from 2miner. I would not worry about it much.
my software? what software. im only using trex. and why would it make a call to 2miners?! i wasnt mining there. i was on hive

It could be the dev fee from t-rex.
i just bought a laptop and tried mining, this was prompted by norton firewall.
PS i was not mining on 2miners.
