3 years ago The most common issue of not being able to access web interface from another machine is your firewall.
From a terminal window do: sudo ufw allow from any to any port 4067 proto tcp
To verify the rule was added correctly, do: sudo ufw status
This, of course, assumes you've got the --api-key parameter set properly.

3 years ago I can access to the machine.
With the new Web interface, a password is requested and I have the data.
With the previous Web interface (file webui.zip), no password is requested, I get the interface without any data in it.
I generated an api key and a SID from a password because I got the response that the api was in read-only mode even if it was at false in my t-rex config file.
And now I can’t edit directly my t-rex config file, I am no longer the proprietary.
Very annoying behavior.

Ubuntu 20.04 T-rex 24.0 If i generate the API key, and have a password, no provision is in the previous WebUI (we could call it "compact mode") to access to t-rex and the WebUI is now empty in my web browser. Acknowledging the work in the new Web interface, but it uses a lot of screen space on another machine monitoring t-rex.
