Could you please support FLUX ALG. AS we use now Miniz which has the best hash rate But will not be good as Trex 🤩

trexminer commented 2 years ago

Not in the near future I'm afraid, but I'll keep the issue open to track it.

I am also mining FLUX since a couples of weeks. It is more profitable than eth with my cards. I prefer T-REX as mining software so +1 for FLUX Algo on T-Rex please.

zerox-20 commented 2 years ago

Would be kinda cool to dual mine flux and eth, thanks for being willing to look into it!

clopabong commented 2 years ago

I second this idea: Flux has a lot of traction right now and would definitely be one of the key tokens to mine after ETH 2.0 Since T-Rex is my preferred mining software, it would really be great to add this algorithm!

Interested in seeing Flux come to T-Rex. See this as one of the coins in the running for possibly being viable after the Eth merge.

FatBoyXPC commented 2 years ago

Throwing my :+1: vote into the mix.

FrameKarl commented 2 years ago

ohu yeah, +1 here too! that would be nice (using gminer since some time ago because its not supported in trex)

lowzyyy commented 2 years ago

Any news about flux support? Way more sense than eth + ergo

gorgarp commented 2 years ago

Since ETH will soon be moving towards PoS, (at least until they bump the merge again) it would be logical for T-Rex to support Flux (one of the likely hash targets)

Just wanted to throw my hat into the ring as well hoping that flux can come to Trex. Miniz works fine on hive but for windows mining on a gaming machine it leaves a lot to be desired.

Such as VERY bad built in overclocking, it totally screws up the overclocks requiring a restart to fix it. It does not reset the overclocks when you exit the miner Does not support core offset overclocks (which work best on flux most of the time) The Web interface is not as good as trex.

There is a market for another miner for flux IF you could match the performance of miniz or get close, I would be willing to give up a precent or 2 performance for the convenience.
