Use Error Stack to error handle internal functions related to application start, scheduling, & misc utilities.

This is separate from the error handling for the web routes.

[x] Implement error case handling
[ ] Testing
[x] Custom error messages per event
[ ] Error codes? (useful later for docs)
[ ] Sentry / PostHog logging
[ ] Error debugging tool
