I have a web server running on same server....I noticed it looks like either sniproxy or dnsmasq use those ports. Is it possible to get a diagram of what these different parts are doing?

Also I'm unclear what dnsmasq is for. I have seen other solutions that only use bind and sniproxy.

Yes, sniproxy has to use 80 and 443.
