Thanks for re-posting my idea from irc channel ;-)
yeah, I've suggested it in Pentoo dev list back in 24/08/2011
there are even scripts for that http://soc.dev.gentoo.org/~hexxeh/
however, it was no updates since then.

forgot to say, that the easiest way is to do it manually for now. Something
like this:

You come up with a script that automatically makes VM's and I'll happily run it
and distribute the results. Frankly, I have no use for people who can't figure
out how to make a vm boot from an iso or work the installer.

https://github.com/d11wtq/gentoo-packer
https://www.packer.io/ eaven more automated,
https://github.com/necrose99/lxc/blob/master/templates/lxc-pentoo.in
it needs testing (or triv fixes) blshkv /ZC have R/W to repo if needed.
IE Docker one can make instances of same lxc container IE a "github" of a
container can "fork" it etc.(each action forks it slightly ie rm-r /var oops
just revert :-) ) .. so if your test case goes to shite you can revert...
since i like testing packages nice youtube zzz demo a bit long-ish.....
anyhow enjoy.the lxc template.....
