emerge update command on wiki is incorrect

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Running emerge --deep --update --newuse world -vt (as indicated in the wiki 
to update a brand new pen too installation)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect pentoo to start calculating dependencies and start to update. Instead 
i see an error.

Using the following options helped to resolve it.
emerge --update --newuse --deep with-bdeps=y @world

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Pentoo 2013

Please dowmload the latest version ( 2014 rcX) and provide a log file with the 
error

bdeps is not required for regular updates. You might need much more steps to 
upgrade a very outdated pentoo/gentoo
