Rename project to OpenForge #15

I'm hoping to migrate the Gittip extension to using this tool. So thanks! https://github.com/gittip/Gittip-Everywhere/tree/trigger-corp-browser-extensions

I'll submit the README changes

makern commented 10 years ago

I support this change. I guess there is no hope of getting the repository itself renamed? browser-extensions is an awfully generic name.

patcon commented 10 years ago

Oh hey, in case it wasn't clear, I didn't come up with it -- they did :) http://trigger.io/cross-platform-application-development-blog/2013/09/10/introducing-openforge-an-open-source-cross-platform-browser-add-on-framework/

Sorry, my comment wasn't directed at you Patrick. It was a general observation regarding the OpenForge name in the announcement and the repository name. I probably shouldn't have hijacked your pull request with this.

patcon commented 10 years ago

No no, I was originally opening this as a request to rename the repo, and just added the README update on a whim, so the comment fits :)

antoinevg commented 10 years ago

Not a fan of the repo name myself, will see about getting it changed - definitely happy to pull the README changes so long :)

Thanks Antoine! And thanks for merging all the other pull requests.
