Of course, after installing obsqr, I tried it out on any QR I had handy. Scanning the barcodes and QR code on my cellphone's box, I noticed that sometimes it decodes the wrong code... 'till I noticed that the decoded number was actually the IMEI code (EAN type barcode). With careful pointing I could get the Date code and Serial number too.
The f-droid.org app description should be updated - it still mentions N.B QR codes only, not other kinds of barcodes.), and as such, will probably scare people away from an exceptionally useful program!
