FR: Use menuling to detect if GrowlHelper is running or not, indicate with hollow icon if not. #261

What feature or enhancement do you propose?
Many menulings for applications change depending on the state of the 
application they are tied to. I propose that when Growl is disabled or stopped, 
that the paw print menuling icon become merely an outline of the paw - 
indicating quite plainly that the service is not running.

What problem does it solve/What benefit does it provide?
Provides easy to recognize means to detect if the growl service is running or 
not.

Please wait for the Growl beta before filing anymore tickets. This is resolved 
in 1.3. :)
