Spaces/Mission Control & Preferences Window #267

What feature or enhancement do you propose?

Personally, I'd like to default the preferences window to All Spaces, as it's
very annoying for the preferences to drag me to a space other than the one I
was currently working in. However, since there is no Dock icon (and hopefully
it'll stay that way (; ), there is no way for the user to define which space
that the growl preferences are assigned to.

Low priority.

Would you accept it switching to whatever space you are active in? It could be
annoying if it followed you around, but switching to the active space would
also solve the problem as stated.

Yeah, that's fine. As long as it doesn't force the Space to change when it's
invoked, should be good to go. I just assumed that a base setting of All Spaces
would be easier to code in (but honestly I have no idea).

this actually sounds like a system setting that exists already, i personally
turn it off because i also find it annoying when i get pulled to another space
when i tab between apps. see attached screen shot.

addressed in [5627], the prefs window will always display on the currently
active space even if it was left open on another space.
