In the wizard, I got an error message "unable to connect port number ends in 's'". It turned out that I had not chosen a git provider. Maybe one way to fix that would be making it a required field?
I was working with an existing repo, and I ended up with a second pages folder inside my pages folder. In the documentation, I'd suggest making it clear where gitsync will put the git repo. I'd also add to that if you're using gitsync with an existing repo and the root of your repo is not the user folder, the file structure will be off.
I'd consider adding an option to the plugin so that rather than specifying which folders in the user folder you want it to track, you can just tell where to put the git repo.
